Databricks raised twice in 2026. Here is how the numbers fit together

A Series L at $134B in February, then a strategic round at $190B in August. The July announcement in between is easy to misread.

Databricks announced in December 2025 that it was raising more than $4B at $134B, then confirmed about $5B of equity in February. Press coverage treats $5B as the round total, so we merge the two announcements rather than adding them.

In July the company said it was raising at $188B, led by Coatue, without an amount. The Wall Street Journal reported $3B. The August close came in at $5B and $190B, which supersedes both.

Alongside that, the company reports a revenue run-rate above $7B, growing more than 80% year over year.
